Splawn Small Block speakers?

Anyone try the Splawn Small Block with their Splawn? I want to get a set of Celestion Creambacks which are huigh wattage Greenbacks but will cost me $350 shipped! Splawn speakers are cheaper and I can get em used for $65 a pop!

I just want to know if anyone has used them with their Bogner? I have a 20th Snniversary Shiva.

I had a few opportunities to play these recently and they are great. They remind me a lot of the Celestion Crrambacks.

I played an XTC through a Splawn 212 with 2 small blocks. I dug it, but I liked the Bogner cab with V30s much better, which is strange because I'm more of a Greenback variation type of guy. Must've been the cab.

I've played multiple heads (Diezel, Hughes & Kettner, Splawn, Jet City, Ceriatone, Marshall, Mesa) through Small Block-loaded 2x12 and 4x12 cabs and they all sounded awesome. Most people I demo-ed them for preferred the Small Blocks over V30'S or G12T-75s.

You can't compare speakers if they are in different cabs, period.
I like having variety. I love all my amps and cabs and speakers and love mixing and matching.
V30s are my favorite speaker of all time but I love them all.
