Splawn Streetrod VS 20th Anniversary EL34 Shiva?

Anyone played both amps?

I LOVE my 20th Shiva with EL34s but have nee itching for another modded Marshall type amp. It seems at that price point, Splawns are some of the best around. Apparently the Streetrod is smoother and warmer than most other Splawns and I did play it briefly and keep thinking I need one.

Anyone?

I owned a Street Rod combo a while back, own a Shiva 20th now. The Splawn is going to sound brighter with a sharper mid where the Bogner's are a little bit darker but that's to be expected. I do think the Splawns will sound a little more Marshally where Bogner amps really do have more of their own thing going on. But overall i didn't like the Street Rod because it sounded small in it's 1x12 combo chassis, i would be curious to hear it on a good 4x12

Thanks danyeo, my fear is I would get it and always prefer my Bogner.

I am just looking for something different to add to the stable. Right now I have the 20th Shiva with EL34s and a 2011 Dual Rectifier.

Maybe I will look at the PWE Event Horizon which is high on my list too.....or Carol Ann Tuscana.
