Splitting Guitar Signal Into 2 Amps

Hey guys, I am looking for the best option to split my guitar signal into 2 amps to be run together at the same time, something similar to a JHS Splitter or Axess Electronics BS2.

I dont need any ABY capabilities because both amps will be run together at all times. An isolated splitter would be nice but not required since I have one of the EBTech ground hum eliminators I could use.

Looking to stay right around or under the $100 price point, any recommendations would be appreciated!

Totally your call, and I understand the need for budget, but regardless of what you've got for ground-hum and the like, I'd still opt for the best money can buy, https://lehle.com/PL/Lehle-Dual-SGoS

The isolated circuits, phase-cancellation switch, volume controls, etc. have proven mandatory over the other products I've tried before buying this unit. And it's built like a tank - you'll have it for life; great company with great support.

Just my 2 cents.

A little more than you wanted to spend, but you can't get a better splitter IMO.

+1

I built a quick one a while back with a klon buffer circuit and just split the signal after that. Worked great and it was cheap for just the parts.

RJM Y-not. One amp or the other or both. Can be activated using a standard footswitch or midi. Buffer, isolated output, phase invert, ground lift etc. It's just perfect for that purpose. I have a Lehle P-Split too and it's good but you lose a bit of level because it's passive.

I used a cheap Boss Chorus pedal.
For under 100 bucks or less, these do the trick just fine. I have one on my board now. Works fine for me.

As Mo said, if you want to spend a bit more the Lehle stuff is great, best that I've tried. With the Boss stuff you lose a little bit of tone or fullness if you will....just a tiny bit and it's not very noticeable..but it's there.

Check out cmatmods choruses. They are under $100 used and not only well built, but they sound phenomenal AND have a very wide range on the controls.

I use a Fulltone ABY switcher. It has all of the bells and whistles. Was like $160 though.

Like jc986 said ... the Fortin roach is compact and works damn well ! I have one in my rig and am sure I’ll be using it in my other rigs as well. I have 3 I am building as we speak

Awesome, thanks everyone for the recommendations. $100 was the price point I was looking to hit, but obviously if spending an extra $50 or so gets much better quality, totally worth it!
