Spotting a Chibson

Cool video here discussing the various tells of a Chibson. They are getting really good now so if you are buying on the used market, not everyone is honest enough to say it is a Chibson. I see "Gibson USA's" for sale locally for 300-400$ but at least they are honest. Some people won't be honest.

Multi-millionaires gawking at a $180 guitar who cares.
Its easy for me to spot a fake.
Alot of those guys look like theyre about to croak.

If they made them with every other part looking close from bridge to binding; Even the best of them is going to have a hex key truss. Most of them all share the same serial number. Don't really understand why people would want one of these things.

Have seen dozens in pawn shops over time and they've all been junk with bad frets and poorly assembled. A shop I used to frequent had one and we measured the scale it was like over 26" :ROFLMAO: Did they ever try to justify every single thing wrong with the guitar.

The video is unnecessarily lengthy, but it's cool that they're putting out stuff like this that can help buyers who don't know any better.

I remember being 20 years old and scrounging up cash from my minimum wage job to buy my first LP special & explorer. It was pure dumb luck that fakes weren't common back then.
