Stereo pedal question

Up until this point i have onlyever run my pedals in mono to a single amp, but now that I have a few amps I would like to try stereo. If I have a pedal chain with various pedals that some are mono and some are stereo, do I just run everything mono except for say my stereo reverb/trem and just go two cables from that last pedal to my two amps? Is there any point if you had 3 stereo pedals in a row to wire them all up with two cables into one another?

Depends on if the stereo pedals have dry thru.

If they dont, you're going to be out of phase and chasing your tail trying to figure out why it sounds "off"

I've been having a lot of fun with the TC Mimiq pedal that member @RaceU4her turned me on to. It's got stereo in, so you would want the reverb/trem just before the Mimiq. There really is no point making stereo connections if they sum into mono at any point in the pedal chain. The Mimiq in true bypass just acts like a Y box, but you can add some extra special sauce with the doubletrack effect. It also has a dipswitch inside if you want to use it's buffer, in case you are running some longer cable lengths. You will want an isolated supply for the pedal though, or I've found it can introduce noise.

This is what I came in to say. Just keep all your pedals mono, run them into an ABY box and then in to the Mimiq and it will give you a fairly close interpretation as the Mimiq tricks your brain some how.

That is straight into two amps - not fx loops. Doubt it will work in loops.
