I love this guy's playing, he is excellent a true master.

He can play anything, he's amazing.
I think he is equal to Jeff Beck, Ritchie Blackmore ect.

I remember seeing him in the Magazines in the mid 80's.
But he came on my radar on Bassist Michael Manring's Record Thonk in like 93.. Great Record..

Sweetwater back in August!! Mind blowing!!

I love the guy. His injuries have really hampered his playing and in the Beato interview it sounded like he always plays with pain now.

I love all four of these:
Part 1

Part 4

Not my favorite, but I seen Morse many times, either in concert or seminars. Saw the Dixie Dregs in the late 70's. Saw The Stever Morse Band w/ Holdsworth opening in the 80's.
Grew to like him in Purple. I like when he solos he's really aggressive. He just tears ass. Love guys who play like that.

You see him fast-picking from the elbow now. Reminds me of Vernon Reid.

Really got into him around his Southern Steel era, very early 90’s. He, Dave and Van are an amazing power trio. Saw them live at The Channel in Boston back then. Fantastic.

Ah yes, the all seeing all knowing King Steve! Top tier musician. His solo albums are brilliant. I've seen the Dregs live at Slim's in San Francisco and were killer. Never got into listening to the Dregs albums, though. I really should give those a listen. Loved his first album with Deep Purple, but after that, meh. Overall, he wasn't a good fit for that band.

I love Steve . My fave solo of his is from Ted the Mechsnic
