Hi!New guy here!! I have a pt100.What is the Steve Stevens mod? Thanks
 
Here is a snippet of a John Suhr post from another forum from a few years back:


"...separate presence controls for each channel...... Steve likes the ultra clean clean channel to get his humbucker into flesh for fantasy territory. So if you need that you can order ultra clean clean channel...."

I also recall another post from Suhr talking about Steves channel 1 being Super clean with no break-up.
I'm sure John or Ed will jump in with more details. :)

Thanks!If I ordered a new one,I would probably get that clean.I usually run my CH1 gain on 1-2. :rock:
 
Here is another, more descriptive quote from John:

"The SS100 is a PT100 but with a separate presence for the clean channel and the option of a very glassy clean channel which makes humbuckers have that Flesh for Fantasy type tone, the swicth takes you from "Glass" to the Old OD clean channel whihc is a tad less low mids than the current clean channel. That just works better for Steve with the Humbuckers"
