Still love my Bogner XTC

Had this amp for awhile now. Still floors me! RB got this amp right!
 
the XTC is a great amp, I have had a few, and I really LOVED the 20th anniv XTC.
 
I had one for quite awhile and always found it too polite I guess. It's a great sounding amp, just wasn't as aggressive in the attack as I like. Loved the clean-mid gain tones.
 
I have a Bogner Shiva which is a cool amp, but have always wanted to try an XTC. Cool to hear that it's delivering for you.

I always wanted a classic but never ended up getting one. the 20th was a killer amp though, I was really digging that amp. great tones in it.
 
So I just got the bug for the Helios. Not sure why I didn't really look at them in the past. Are people still using them?

Yup. I got into the Bogner game this past summer with a 20th Anniversary Shiva and am really liking the Bogner flavor. Now I'm itching to try an XTC and a Helios.
 
I tried the Helios at low volumes in gc a few weeks ago. I really dug it. Very raw and punchy. I'd love to try one unleashed
 
Got my 100B in 2003, I will NEVER sell it, still loving it, monster amp!
 
I got an older Shiva last year. I'd like to try an XTC some day just cause I'm curious, but amp GAS is pretty much gone since I got the Shiva.
 
XTC Classic with the metal grill is IMO the best looking amp ever made.
 
I'm on my 3rd 100b. Id better keep it this time as they are hard to find. Great amp! Dying to try a 6L6 20th

I just have a 101b, but it's my 4th, and I've had 2 classics... I'd want to try another amp.. so I'd sell, then get another. A while back I hadn't played one for a while and the other guitsr player asked... you're not selling that one too are you?? You'd think you'd learn... ;) I'm keeping it.
 
My XTC 20th is the best amp Ive owned. Soooo versatile. Love it!
Side by side with the Helios 100...yes the Helios had a wonderful raw snarl to it. Both amps are addicitve. I just prefer the XTC in a live situation for all of its channels and boosts. :)
 
6L6 20th is the best all-around amp I've ever owned. The clean channel alone was worth it, even better than the Shiva and GF cleans.

I owned an 20th XTC with 6L6s and it was so amazing! In my top 3 for tube amps. Here are four clips I recorded with that killer amp. Such a versatile amp:
