Stock ADA MP-1 Tube Help.

I have a stock MP1 that I'm going to use as a preamp for the time being. I have several tubes, and was curious which I should use for it.

Tung Sol 12AX7A reissue
Electro Harmonix 12AX7 EH
Penta Labs 12AX7

Which should I use for decent cleans and aggressive dirty tones ala Sevendust and Dark New Day? Realizing that I wont get close, but that's the type of music I play. This is only temporary till I figure out what amp I'll be grabbing permanently.

Personally, I dig the EH tubes over most others in the adas. I tried a few of the jjs but it just seemed too much for me.

I liked the Tung Sols in my modded ADA's, but never tried one in a stock MP-1. Myself and 4nkam (Monty, I think?) both used to post alot over on the ADA Forum, and had great luck with the ADA's..........great preamps! I had a 6 of them at one time, and was most impressed with the 3.666 mod, which was a few changes to op amps, resistors, etc and made it sound like a Mesa Triple.

If you ever get curious, go over there (AdaDepot) and read how easy they are to mod.........great base for just about any tone you want, and simple to modify yourself.
