Anyone compare the two? I have a slanted baffle 212 and was wondering what you all find in comparison to the straight fronts? I have always used straights in the past and this is my first slanted baffle 212.

We all hear things differently and we like different things but curious what you all have found if at all!

Thanks for the opinions.

My take on this is,if it sounds good,it is good.I have both a slanted 412 and a straight and I like both equal.Different projection but cool!!

How about with a 212 though? The entire font baffle is slanted, Sucks because I don't have anything for comparison.

I built an oversized 212 with the baffle slanted and if kicked ass.As good as anything out there and it projected well.I say if your happy with it,it's for a reason. My 412 slanted is just like the oversized Eggy 412,just the baffle is slanted and made of a different birch, sounds good too.

I personally think its more of a "projection" thing live...pointing the sound more at your face. I personally think it doesn't affect the tone "that much."
