Strange clicking noise with Twin Jet

So ever since I got my Twin Jet, I noticed that if I pull out the instrument cable from the input jack the amp itself (not the speakers) begins to make a strange clicking noise for about 20 seconds. My Rev Blue wouldn't do this... any ideas?

It's the switch that mutes the power amp with no cable in. Try shooting some good contact cleaner on your 1/4 jack and plug it in and out of the input jack several times.
