Lots of knobs. Soon as I heard Pete's review, I ordered one from Rob. Then canceled the order after getting the 2290. I am into self-abuse because I said I wouldn't go back to rack gear. As far as stomps go, there probably is not one to beat it running up front. Lately, I was running the MXR and a Keeley modded DD3 both on my board with the MXR set for a wide echo and the DD3 for a harder 200 ms hit.

If you decide to run a delay in front of the amp and use the amp for drive this pedal cannot be beat IIMHO. I am amazed at how huge it sounds in a very organic way. Hides below the dry signal like a tape delay should, really worth the money!!!
The 2290, I totally understand. I finally got away from racks as well, but always get tempted to go back.

Put it all together with W/D/W and mixers and it sounds better than a wet dream.
Congrats on the 2290 as it is as good as it gets for delay tones.
