Hi everyone, i recenty got an einstein 50 and i have a silly question

So, the einstein has for each channel a volume and for both channels a master(plus one master for the foot controler).

Now, what the purpose of the volume   how does it affect the sound. I mean whats the difference in having for

example the volume high and the master low with having the volume low and the master high?

Y'know i got a 4X12 in my home room(big mistake) and i can't turn it very loud

The channel volumes affect the preamp, the master volume is the overall volume of the amp. The preamp is where most of your gain and tone/eq will come from BUT if you turn the master up a bit you will start to get some power tube distortion which is always a good thing. :rawk:

There are several ways to think about how you want the Einstein to work.
If you crank the channel volume up, and keep the master 1 volume low, the amp will open up and sound wider.
If you use the channel volume down in the normal range, the amp with come back into a normal range of openness.
So, if for example, you are using a guitar with single coil pickups that is a bit anemic sounding, if you have the amp with a more open sound, the guitar will sound bigger and wider.

The global masters 1 and 2 are best used to set up the volume and a boosted volume that you wish to use.

the room IS kind of small, however a 2x12 is going to be pretty much just as loud as 4x12
