I would love to see the egnater single channel modules go down in price, in the 275-300 range. As of now, I think to order a new single its $375?

if that is the correct price, I just don't ever see me going for them. There are a few modules I think I would scoop up, but with the price of the randall modules which there are more variety, and then even adding in sending off to Friedman or Turley to get modded, coming back sounding fantastic, I just can't justify a single eggie purchase. Randalls signature series, their higher end, are priced at 250 range, and some of them are actually great. I have one Egnater single I got in trade, a bassman, and its nice, except the randall tweed sounds pretty much exactly the same in single form, hard to tell them apart side by side.

so here is a request to see different pricing on the single mods. thanks for considering

If I remember correctly .the price point on the singles isn't all Egnater's choice .

Jeff explained it before that Randall required that Egg sell at 10-15% markup from thier own modules .

I believe the problem came about with the sig models being much higher list .
Orginally if it was just the Randall series , the price point would have been much lower ..

Right that makes sence.

but still 10-15 percent markup of randalls highest price point, about 250 retail, is still only about $290. Thats what I would love to see, not in the upper 300 range, just a smidge below dual modules. I would only be able to buy used egnater modules this way.

I think its more a production issue. They wont sell alot of single channel modules so they wont do them in big batches. Hence, it takes more time to make them and time is money. I could be wrong though.
