Suggestions for a pre amp pedal in loop

As the title states, I toying with the idea of running a dedicated pre amp pedal into my practice amp.

I always thought the bogner pedals were pre amp pedals, but apparently there not.

Anybody use or have used one that they liked?
 
i'm patiently awaiting my KSR ceres. the soundclips from NAMM were amazing.
 
The Bogner Ecstasy pedals basically are the preamps of their respective amps channels (blue, red) but I don't know that they're considered as actual pres because of the voltage they run at which is standard 9V and then internally stepped up to around 24V or so...

You might want to check out Kingsley pedals, especially the Constable.
 
I'm waiting on a Ceres as well. Already have a KSR amp but everyone seems to say the pedal is worth it even with a KSR amp.
