i don't know if i should eventually pull the trigger on one of these or not?

if anyone could tell me something from experience it would help

i hear it's like a single channel od100 that has the potential for extreme od, but can of course clean up nicely as well

idk of course, talked to i believe john from the company a long time ago, and just realized i maybe could've should've bought his amps

John is working on the Handwired's right now. He has about 7 of them made. As you can see they are a total custom handwired amp that is 1 channel, but if you call Suhr, there might be other options depending on what you want and what shounds you are tring to get. The will clean up very well. If you look at the Ampfilier Price list on Suhrs website you will see some descriptions of each style of Handwired amps:

Here is a demo if the SH100:

The SH100 isn't a gain monster when compared to the SE100 or PT100, but as you can see from the video, theres a huge/great sound right there.

I have a PT100 Handwired on order right now, and its about a 6 month wait. It will be worth it for many reasons. 1 its going to be a wicked toneful amp, 2 its rare and not that many people are going to have one so your sound will be your sound. 3 its a custom Suhr amp.... nuff' said!

Good luck and if you can handle the wait go for it!
