We are pleased to announce a far-reaching partnership with GIT (Musicians Institute) in Hollywood, CA and will kick it off with a Suhr clinic on Jan 22, Thursday featuring Guthrie Govan and Peter Thorn. Guthrie will demo the various Suhr guitars - including the new GG Signature Model - during the first part of the clinic and Peter will demo the various Suhr/CAA amps - including his PT100 - during the second segment of the clinic. Perhaps we'll even have a little impromptu jam between Guthrie and Pete.
GIT faculty director Beth Marlis had advised us that there is a great deal of interest in Suhr products amongst the GIT students with a number of GIT faculty members like Scott Henderson and Dan Gilbert playing Suhr guitars. As part of the partnership agreement, Suhr Guitars will provide a number of guitars and amps for display and for GIT students to try at their leisure. GIT students will also be able to purchase Suhr products direct from Suhr through a student discount and scholarship program that we are working on with GIT. We will also conduct clinics on a regular basis with various Suhr artists in the future.
We are very excited about this partnership with GIT and to push ahead with our commitment to furthering guitar education wherever we can.
