Suhr Tele's

I have been gassing latley for a tele. I played a warmotth made one with a SD hot tele lead pickup. It sounded great. I was thinking about getting one with humbuckers and have them coil tapped. Good idea bad Idea? Should I get some suhr pickups?

Any info or advice would be great I just don't no much about suhr guitars

I bought a suhr Tele recently with a humbucker in the neck. No coil tap. Excellent guitar. Be prepared for a wait (>7 mo for me) but I hear they have expanded the production facility and that should get better. As for pickups, etc, go to Indoor Storm in Raleigh. That's were I got mine. Do a little reading on www.suhrguitars.com and have an idea of what you want before you get there. They can help you spec it out there. You cannot order direct from Suhr, must go to a dealer. I'll post some pics later.
