Switch Herbert via cubase (midi) - how to?

Can anybody tell me step by step how I can programm cubase the way that it switches my herbert via midi?

For example: starting in the clean channel with mid cut and vol 2,
then after 1 minute cubase should send a midi-signal to change to channel 2 without midcut and vol1, etc...

I dont have that much experience using cubase and could not figure out how it works yet.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Not too familiar with Cubase but in Logic and Pro Tools they are called "Midi Events". I used to use this with my Fractal and it worked well.
