Hey guys

I just bought a Suhr Riot and while it sounds fantastic, the switching is a problem. There were a few times I had to stomp twice to get it to activate and then there are times where I stomp on it once and it does this double pop thing, almost like it's engaging twice. Is this just a bad switch? Can you help me out? Thanks!

Matt

I think it says in the manual you have to stomp the switch 5 times and then it is fine, it explains why i just cant remember

I didn't see that anywhere in the manual. I tried that anyway but it still did the same thing.

Thanks though!

Sent an email to Suhr. Hopefully I can get this figured out soon!

Was it used?
Never had a problem with it not engaging.
We do have an update for the double click (been updated for 4 or 5 months} but it needs to come to us for this.
If you bought it from a dealer as new exchange it for a new one.

What is the double click?

The first batch of riots would click as expected on the down push and as well on release of the button which is avoidable, not a major issue but if it bothers anyone we can reprogram the button.
This is in the logic that is sent to the relay, to make it one click we need to reprogram the switch which only takes a minute but we have to do it with our programer, it is not a part change or addition.

I will check mine this week. I am thinking of putting it on a pedal board and that might be an issue.
