Switchable Serial FX Loop on the Herbert

This may be a dumb question, but does the Herbert have a SWITCHABLE SERIAL loop that can be stored per patch?
I want to use a G Force in a serial loop setup and I don't wanna use another preamp. I know you can use another preamp in its insert (switchable).

I simply want to have the G Force hooked up in the serial loop and being able to enable/disable that loop WITHOUT actually taking the cables out (like in the VH4 case)

I know the serial loop for the VH4 is not switchable.

Yes, seems to me that's a switchable serial loop!

I change about how I use it and occasionally have a pedal in the switchable (serial) loop, and run my G-major in the serial loop. However at the moment I run my G-major in the switchable loop and all my patches are set with the loop on. This way I can play my amp normally and use my normal patches, but if I want to record dry "pure" non-ADA converted diezel tracks I just reach over and hit the loop button instead of having to poke about unplugging my FX unit out the back.

I think it goes preamp->switchable loop->serial loop->parallel loop

I never got an answer on that though, but it's definitely preamp->switchable->serial as my G-maj sounds the same in either the switchable or serial loop, and if I put my g-maj in the serial I can switch in/out a stompbox before it (unless my ears are playing tricks on me!?!?)

Great thanks! It's OK as long as the SWITCHABLE serial loop doesn't come BEFORE Herbert's preamp section.

I don't wanna end up with my G Force in front of the preamp section serially linked.

Can somebody please confirm??

This is basic operation to have a switchable serial loop on way cheaper amplifiers but then again.. VH4 doesn't have it.

I'll eat my hat if it is, since my G-major doesn't sound any different in it!

Also I tried putting my guitar through a splitter into the Herbie's preamp and my triaxis input at the same time. I connected the triaxis output to the switchable return. The "loop" switch then changes between using the Herbie's power section with the Herbie Preamp, or the triaxis preamp. It seemed to work, so there's another pointer I must be right. I got a ground loop so never bothered to persevere with the idea, but I have considered the option of an 11 channel herbert if I get some ground lift boxes! Not sure it's worth all the bother and extra wires though! :)
