Time for my almost monthly "these amps kick a$$" post... I have short-attention span from a gear standpoint, and tend to turn guitars, amps, effects, etc. around pretty frequently. The Egnater gear is perfect for me... I'd been using the Vox and COD in my RM50 and T/D, SL, E-RECT, and EG3/4 in my M4. But I started getting the "itch" for something different, so I switched things around a bit... put the B'MAN and SL2 (great combination!) with a fresh set of JJ 6V6's in the RM50, then put the T/D, COD, MHG, and EG3/4 into the M4. Now it's like having two completely different amps.

Looking forward to the next couple months around here... I'm gearing up for 2 recording projects, one harder rock (will probably use the MHG and EG3/4) and one jazzier (will probably use the B'MAN).

That's sweet B. I changed up to the 6V6 recently because one of my Tung Sol took a crap. Couldn't be happier. I am running the SL and my custom EG3/3 module and it just kicks major @ss. I had channel B on the SL last night with the gain @ 2:00 and the master on 1:00, low power on the amp, ran my Fulltone OCD into it with some modulated delay in the loop. It was freaking unreal. Still clean enough to hear the snappy sparkling high end spank from the humbuckers (6V6 were working that end of it) but still hot enough to feed back at just a notch or two above bedroom volume (okay maybe 2.5 notches). So many ways to get what you want and so much fun getting there.
