So is the Twin side supposed to be louder than the Deluxe side? And when I take the module out, and am looking down at it, is the Twin side on the left? I'm wondering, as the Deluxe side is much louder than the Twin side. Thanks. Steve

The clean side (ChA) since it has less gain, is always going to need to be run "louder" on the master volume than the B side typically. Like...with my BMAN. I run ChA's Gain at about 11 oclock to noon, and the master vol at about 3-4 oclock. I run ChB's Gain at about 10 oclock, and run the master vol at noon - 1 oclock.

The module isn't "left or right" on the tubes. Each tube has a different use. V1 (the left tube when the knobs are facing you) is mainly used as a gain stack in each ChA and ChB's preamp section. This is the tube that does the most "tone shaping" for the module. V2 (the right tube) is used more for the shared EQ section from what I remember.

So both tubes are used for both ChA and ChB.

Thanks for the info. Made things much clearer. I"m having to run the Twin side at full volume with the Deluxe at about 1 to keep them even. I just thought the Twin would be a bit louder......
