T/D undesired compression - anyone else?

I am getting some undesired compression during the attack when I play my T/D module. I do not overdo the EQ and I'm getting this with multiple EQ settings, especially when I use the bright & boost switches. When compared to my VX module at the same volume, the difference is very discernable. It's like a spikey compression before the notes bloom - just doesn't feel right.

Is this common? Anyone else having this?

Channel A or B? My T/D would compress quite a bit on channel B. Even more than my DLX. But channel A stayed clean and uncompressed. Nice module but I got rid of it because it hums a lot in my MOD 100. Bman too. :(

That stinks. My modules are pretty quiet in my rig, so that's strange. Was the hum at loud volumes or across the whole spectrum? Was it just those two modules?

As for the compression, happens on both A and B. I thought I read a while back there was an update for this for the T/D for the modules made in 2007, but I forgot what thread that was in.

Just the 100,mine does it too!! :no:certain modules do it louder than other like the COD  and it is not the modules as they are quite in the M4 and 50

I think Eric had the same problem with his Mod100, but had it fixed.

It's not fixed yet. I shipped it out a couple weeks ago to Egnater, and am waiting for Bruce to fix it. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Yes - hopefully. Then Jason and I can send ours to be fixed.

Marvcus: It hums at any master volume level - especially with LOW gain, HIGH module volume!!!! I'm not kidding. But max the gain on channel A though and it's quiet as a mouse. Makes no sense. Should be fun to ship. 65 pounds worth. Both my T/D and Bman were pretty clean and not very compressed on channel A. They were my favorites too. Maybe somethings wrong with yours.
