Someone gave me a brief answer to this once a while back, but I can't remember the details: What's the deal with a couple of Egnater modules I've seen referenced as a "T/V" and a "D/V"? What modules do you need to start with (I'll assume that the "T/V" starts with a T/D module)? Who does these mods, or who CAN do these mods? Is this something I can do myself? Anyone own one of these, or even heard one? What's the tone like, and how well do the two channels work together in the same module? How similar is the "V" channel as compared to the A and B channels of the VX? Thanks!

Hugh, you seem to be on a serious Eggie Acquisition Spree!.....

From what I remember, the T/V module isn't like the the T/D module with two different channel voicings, but it's more like a twin module with a Vox EQ. I would only assume that the D/V is similar. I also remember Bruce not recommending this setup for one reason or another. That's the part I can't remember.

I had the T/V module and while it sounded good, I didn't bond with it. Seemed like too much of a compromise between 2 very distinct tones that really don't share too much in common. Not very Twin, not very Vox. Never heard or tried a D/V, although I would expect similar results.

Even Hilly used to say, "IDK mang, it's a compromise"

It was also the lowest output module I have ever owned.

Sounds like the T/V (& the D/V if it ever existed) was more of an experiment . . . yes? No? So were either these modules ever listed on Egnater's Module web page?
