What's the best way to handle the wait? I ordered end of April, and still have 3-4 months to go....I'm not sure I can keep it together that long....I neeeeeed my Suhr now! :-)

Ain't no talking through the wait. I ordered in April too. Waiting for a Suhr is like going bow hunting with your friend and while you're rowing down the river in your canoe, two hill-billies get you in the mud and just when you get to squealing...

Best way to handle the wait is to watch the available list and when you see one you like have your dealer get it for you. You know you are going to wind up getting a second one anyway. :)

Hah! How true. There was a used Classic at my dealer's the other day - very nice, but it had a Floyd - just not a big fan of the Floyd - plus, it had a fatter neck than I like. Still, I was very tempted, but luckily it sold to someone else, so I didn't have the make the tough decision myself!

I got my Classic pretty pimped out, so I think if/when I get a 2nd Suhr, it will be the Gibson scale LP-style that I keep hearing rumors of. That is one thing missing from my stables - I have an LP-style guitar, but it is 25-1/8 in. scale, and I have a 24-3/4 in. scale guitar, but it is a strat-style alder body with P90s, so I don't really have a 24-3/4 in. scale LP-style....when is John putting that one out??? :-)

What did you order

A Classic w/flame maple top, no pickguard, cherry burst, H-S-S, standard trem, matching headstock and abalone inlays, slim neck, pau ferro FB. Getting inside of 3 months now, so not soooo bad ;-)

You're gonna love that man! I am really loving my pau ferro FB's on two of my guitars. So much so, I just ordered a new neck for my warmoth tele that is birdseye maple and pau ferro. Love my Suhr Pro Modern w/ PF FB. Just plays so damn good! :)

Hey Eric....Suhr + Egnater - winning comb, eh?

This will be my first Pau Ferro FB. I've got guitars with maple, ebony, IRW and BRW, but I've never played PF - everyone that has one seems to love it though....only thing I wish I could have on it are the Grover Roto-Grip locking tuners instead of the Sperzel Trim-Loks - I really like the Grovers better, but not that big a deal I guess. I suppose I could always change them out, but the Grovers are screw mount instead of pin mount, and I'm not sure I'm gonna wanna go drilling holes in the headstock of my brand new Suhr!!! :aww:

I love the Sperzels...that's what is on all of my guitars..but that's me! :)
