The weirdest drive pedal I've ever played...

Borders a Fuzz tone on the higher gains, can do anything in between. Has a strong built in gate for silent operation on higher gain settings. I notice some notes at those higher gain settings can mute out because the volume conflicts with the gate. I've never experienced that on a drive pedal with a built in (preset) gate feature.
That said, the tone also has a unique tone due to it's unique design and architecture. Well deserved for their flagship/startup pedal.
The company also has a Klon/BB 2-in-1 circuit and a couple others but The Hog was their first and remains their top seller.
