Flipping thru my literature I forgot about this.So very cool.We all know the 1128 but has anybody ever seen
a 2228 in the wild?

Nope, never seen that one. Was it really put into production or did they add the 1128X instead as the stereo option?

Idk.i have literature on the 1128x.it looks like it was more a master/ slave more x units together,control with one 1128.
Had I seen this 2228 back in the day,I would've been all over that.

Nope, never saw that in any studio back in the 80s. I too woulda jumped on these if I had seen one in the wild. "Oooo!! What's that? Show me what it does." I was always super curious about rack gear back then.
