TC Electronic Flashback for 80's lead sound setting?

Just got a flashback ...I was looking to setup a good lead delay...just curious on a few settings....

I use the EP3 toneprint.

Its really good sounding delay.

I have the delay time at about 12oclock, the feedback at around 8.30-9oclock (for 2-3 repeats) and then level to taste. I have the level at about 11oclock but then i have another level control of ny effects loop.

I also like this tone print for an "always on" type delya. As above but everything a bit less. Has a nice, subtle chorus/detune modulation to it and slight atenuation of the high end with the repeats. Gives a nice abiance and thickens out your tone a lot.

Think Van Halen esque delay... Even better with Phase 90!

Also the 2290 is good but sa bit to clean sounding.

Gonna get the X4 soon!

I started using the dynamic setting...
Anyone try the EP3 less drive

There is a killer 2290 w/ mod toneprint by Brian Nutter for 80's tone.

To me the most 80´s-sounding (and best-sounding) delays are the twin delays; one shorter with more repeats and one longer with fewer repeats. I suppose it´s originally meant for WDW or stereo rigs, but it works just as well in mono. Not sure if the Flashback has that feature, but if so it´s well worth a try. Gives the tone a lot of space, so you can cut back on the reverb in the process.
