I just picked up an RM20 combo, I am not sure if Bruce did the design on this one as well, but There seems to be a lot of confusion on the wattage of these amps. Even on teh Randall web site it says 15 watts some places, and 18 watts others. Are you able to clarify this?? I know that 3 watts won't make a noticeable difference in loudness, I am just a geek for specs (thats the Electronics engineer in me)

Also I have heard about upgrading the OT, but I can't find the primary impedance to find a cross reference. Anyone know the value??

Thanks, and Happy new year!!!!

Unlike the the RM50 and RM100, I don't believe Bruce had anything to do with the design of the RM20 or RM22.

Looking at pictures of the early Rm50s they do say designed by Bruce Egnater on the back. Mine is the same era, but no designed by on the back...I think you are right. Thanks for the info

Not really surprising since comparing the power section of my 20 watt Peters to this power wise the Peters walks all over this!!!
