Tech21 Midi Moose don´t works with Herberts Phantom Power

Hello!

I have to use a Power Supply, but

The Midi Moose will accept power via standard 5 conductor/pin MIDI cable through Pins 1 and 3.... Note: Power must be between 8 and 15 V DC, any polarity

No problems with changing settings, only the phantom power... The Midi Moose is new! Whats the problem?

Mine Works, might just have a busted Midi Moose. The quality control isn't the best on them. I have a busted LED on channel one, and that happened one week into owning it, but it still works regardless.

Be sure that You haven´t killed the fuse for
phantom power inside the amp.

The voltage is 18VDC which is acceptable for 98% of all midi pedals.
Maximum power usage of the pedal can not exceed 500mA

Isn't there any voltage problem (up to 15V for MIDImoose, and 18V provided by the VH4?

Lot of nonsense on the English manual.
The voltage is 12VDC and the max. current is 0,8 amps.

aber im deutschen Manual steht das Selbe

Phantom-Power via Midi In:
Pin 1 und 6 : Ground (-)
Pín 3 und 7 : Hot (+)
Spannung 9 bis 12 V DC oder AC
max. Stromaufnahme des Midi-Pedals: 800mA (0,8 A)
Auf korrekte Polung ist unbedingt zu achten, da es sonst zur Zerstörung des
Pedals kommen kann !!

I´m sooo stupid.....

yesterday i check the fuse but everything is ok, 12v all right etc...

then i check the midi-cable, and.... only 3 pins of 5 are clogged and wired

that was all!!!!
