Tell me about the Egnater 1x12" cab at Guitar Center

Yes, the Rebel 1x12 cab has a lot more low end than you would expect from a 1x12 cab. I had one a while back with the Rebel head and I was damn surprised how "big" and booming it sounded. It's a very good cab. Take your 10% GC coupon and get one for roughly $230 after tax. It might not have the sound of a Port City or a Mesa but it's damn good for the money.

I was also surprised at the sound that little cab put out. It's not a 4x12 but it has a nice thump to it and didn't sound as tiny as alot of 1x12s do.

There is also an Egnater oversized 1x12 that is not a GC product. Sounds much bigger, but is more $$

Yea I got a TM212 floor model that had black scuffs on the top from the rubber feet on the heads really cheap. It also was the only one they had. It cleaned up with some windex,BAM back to new. :D gotta luv GC.

Yes! That Egnater 1x12 can put out some sound! It sounds great w/ the Rebel...I've had to EQ the Einstein to sound good through that cab though. I thought it sounded too "Hi-Fi"...and I'm wondering about some other speaker options. Truth is, all the speakers I like are way to underpowered to use w/ my 100W Einstein, so I'm not sure what to do...

After tonight's audition, it's official. This cab does indeed kick butt! It's very small and portable, but still sounds really full. I'm impressed and VERY glad I bought it!

Sometime we'll have to do my "Mojo / Eggie styled" 1x12 cab up to a rebel! :)
