I knew of these amps but never took a good look at them until the other day. I didn't realize it was a 50 watt Class A amp. This has my interest now. I've only come across a couple of helpful reviews and sound clips. From what I can tell it sound pretty good and seems like it would be a good at covering at least up to hard rock territory; maybe into hair metal with a boost.

Anybody here play one? what did you think of it?
Any other info will be appreciated as well.

I tried one at local music store a while ago. I remember it being a nice amp and great for the price. The level of clarity and detail is probably way above any other amp I’ve tried close to its price range (brand new at least). You’re right about what styles it can cover well. I remember it sounding in a way smooth, but still raw with grit at the same time

Smooth, but raw with grit; that's sounds like it could be right up my alley. The videos I've listen to sound like it has that signature Laney tone as well. I don't have that in my arsenal right now. As far as I can tell it looks to be true Class A with 5 EL34's running in parallel. If it responds to picking dynamics like some of the other Class A amps I've played that'd make it even more enticing.

Do you remember how well it responded to your playing?

I think it did, but it’s been many years. I remember the feel of the amp being quite good and imo the best Laney I tried, but I haven’t tried the vintage Supergroup models

I wouldn't expect it to be stiff, but sometimes an amp hits you with an unexpected curveball. If you remember the feel being pretty good that gives me enough confidence that it would respond to at least my minimum expectations.

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a vintage Supergroup or Klipp. If I ever happened to come across one in good condition for a steal I probably wouldn't hesitate to grab one. I havve been eyeing the Ceriatone Supersound to possibly build myself as a project. Hard to beat their kit prices and I'd get to say I brought it to life. I doubt it'd be a perfect replica, but hopefully if I do end up building that kit It'll be close enough.

I made an offer on Reverb and the seller accepted while I was typing this response. Guess I'm now the owner of a Lionheart L50H. I'm interested in how it sounds an plays. Now I just have to wait for it to be shipped/delivered and hope the seller packs it well to not get damaged during transit.

Nice! Could be interesting how it compared to the Naylor

That will be a nice different flavor if it’s anything like my gh100s
