Tell me about the Suhr 2x12 cabs. Good?

I'm looking at 2x12s to use with my Orange Super Crush 100, Quilter 202, 5150-III 50watt, and maybe a future Friedman head.

I'm looking for easy to carry, 8 ohms, and "lighter" than typical cabs. I've seen they have some great handles, etc. Was wondering what you guys think of these?

I like the PT100 matching 2x12 I have. The one thing I’d caution you about, is checking one out before you purchase one, to make certain the speakers in the 2x12 “work”(sonically/eq-wise) with your amp/s. My Suhr 2x12, to my ears, doesn’t work with my PT100. Go figure…
The PT100 sounds much better through my Friedman 4x12 with V30s and 25w Greenbacks.
My Rivera M100 sounds killer through the Suhr 2x12.

Not a Suhr, but I gigged a Port City 2x12 for years and I always felt it was light for its size. They sink a Marshall style side handle in the top so it's really easy to carry with one hand.

I put a pair of Neo cream backs in it and it was ridiculously light. The Neos can be raspy, but I use an FM3 so was able to run a global eq on the cab output to dial it in closer to my fav scumback loaded cab.

I recently switched to a slant 2x12 for giggles and ended up cutting a hole in the top to install that same handle, it really works well.

Another option is the Quilter 1x12 which handles 250 watts and super light but wonder how thst would sound with a 5150-III, etc.

I think the Bogner OS 2x12 is the best I’ve used. Closed back with V30s or a V30 / GB mix is killer for high gain
