I'm taking some forum time off to write some originals and play more.

Yesterday I sat for hours playing and thinking of some recent difficult personal issues
and I felt like I was getting EXACTLY the sound I needed/wanted. The BMan and SL
continue to blow my mind - dynamic and expressive. You can do so much with
these modules. Had the perfect thing going on the BMan, then I thought of a nice
lead line for a fill part and thought "I wish it had more umph." Switched to the SL
and it was just what I wanted.

I had a really hard time for a while there because I had so many choices, I found myself
trying to dial everything in at the same time and it just got overwhelming. Now I just
look at the M4 as four separate amps and I sit down and play one, maybe two at a time.

I hope Egnater re-introduces the modular line soon, and I hope it breaks the pall
that the issues with the overseas line has cast over this forum.

Peace!

I still love my M4 and modules, so much so that I just bought another M4 for my small B rig. For this grab-n-go rig I've tried five different combos, a couple inexpensive heads, a couple different boutique heads, and not one of them has came close to the tones and versatility I get from an M4 and even a cheap power amp. My smaller B rig will now be an M4, G-Major II, and a Carvin DCM200L. Four rack spaces, grab it and go with my small THD 2x12, and my small pedal board. An E2 would work as well, since I'll probably only use the VX and Bman like I normally do, but still no word on the E2..

Hey Egnater, how about an E2 update ????
