Olaf, help me out again. I wanna make a double amp rig with either of the diezels and my little joe. What would i need to control both amps, not a stereo rig but more of a multiple channel rig (3ch from the little joe) plus the chs from the diezel im using at the moment.

I played the einstein for three days straight and i was in heaven but today i played the little joe and man! I dont wanna compromise it, instead i wanna be able to use it along with the diezels.

Oh btw both amps through only one cab

I recently picked this up from Ed D., to do 2 heads into 1 cab, haven't gotten it yet but I'll tell you how it goes when it arrives

http://www.tonebone.com/tb-headbone-vt.htm

Only problem now is figuring out how to get 1 FX unit into both FX loop through some sort of switching system. I think you can switch the A/B between the Amp's with a relay. So the midi along with a switcher should be able to switch channels/FX loops for both amps in theory  I gotta figure it out when it arrives :D

Why???? To be complicated, that is why....lol. ;)

This is a very easy thing to do with the right products. Radial Head Bone is a nice product and can do the trick for you as mentioned.

If you don't want to spend 300 Euros on that Tonebone (which is awesome of course) you could also get a looper and run LJ's send into any Diezels serial return. Looping LJ in and out would keep the Diezels sound.
http://www.nobels.com --> "Alex" runs off standard 9V, can be remote switched (standard footswitch).
You only need a kind of buffer (like a stereo chorus - not on, just to buffer the guitar - to both amps).

hmm but if I slave Little Joe into the Diezel, will I still be able to use LJ?

Can I buy one of those Nobel Midi footswitches (for the VH4 too) and change ALL the channels (Diezel and LJ) ? do I need anything else besides that?

Or is it honestly easier with the ToneBone?

Easier is the Tonebone.

If you want to switch everything via midi you also need something like a Nobels MS4 - to switch the Tonebone (has a remote switching jack) and the three sounds of LJ. If you want to switch also Einstein via Midi than you need two MS4s.

Nah, at least not for now, I don't need to have everything Midi switchable.

I can do it with all my footswitches in front of me (Little Joe's/Diezels)

I'll try to look for a used ToneBone (they seem to go for 150 euros of so) which will be close to the amount I would spend getting everything else, AND it's easier and less cables/stuff laying around.

Nothing in the used market

well I guess for 45 Euros the Alex seems like the way to go then Olaf.

I can use my Boss ME-50 to split the Guitar signal to both amps, correct?

and, how about effects? how can I use the ME-50 to feed fx to both heads?

*I'm getting exited about this :D, you have no Idea how it'd be to have my LJ and Diezel together*

I didn't A_T

is that for the guitar signal? I plug the guitar in there and that goes to the Nobels Alex ?

you plug you guitar in to it and split it in two signals
so you can play two amps at one time without any kind of hum

oh, thanks, but that's not exactly what I want..... (I can do this with my Boss ME-50 btw)

I don't wanna run two amps simultaneously....I wanna have two amps together with the ability to use any channel of either of them whenever I want, but it's only one amp at a time that's gonna be played....

For example, lets say I'm playing Hey Joe from Hendrix......and I wanna play the intro with my little Joe ch.2 (-) mode and when it goes to the first verse I wanna switch to the texas mode in my Einstein...get it now? it's not like I wanna have little joey AND Einstein "sounding" at the same time (like a stereo rig) it's more like a multiple channels available for me.

The Diezels have that awesome Diezel flavor that I really like, and the VH4 and Einstein are different enough for me to keep them both, but not for me to PLAY THEM both....but with the little joe, there's an extra flavor VERY prominent. Olaf did a GREAT job with that amp. The cleans sound VERY clean.....even cleaner than the Diezels (because obviously diezel has a "diezel clean") the Little Joe has an Olaf touch but is more Straight out Fender clean. Plus it's got this amazing switch called the FAT switch in ch.1 that takes you into tube saturation....so for blues is :inlove: :inlove:

did I do a better job this time explaining what I need? hehehe

Olaf understood it fine...I think I'm going with the Nobels Alex.

I STILL need to know if

1) The ME-50 will split the guitar signal to both amps (I've done it before when I played my MEsa Boogie F-50 Combo and the Einstein in stereo, so I see why I wouldn't)

2) How can I add FX to BOTH heads at the same time

Amp A send
......................looper.....FX.........Return Amp B
Amp B send

Be prepared that you might get ground loops, so you may want to add a line iso box by Palmer . . . but it depends . . . do you have a DI box?

nop, no DI box.

btw, can I use all this later on in 110v? (buying a 9v 110 power block)

alright then, so just to make everything clear

I'd need:

Nobels Alex Looper
Palmer ISo Box (this is what you're talking about: http://www.thomann.de/es/palmer_pli01_line_isolation_box.htm ?

That alone would cost less than a used Tonebone, IF I found one, because they're not that common around here.

Do I need anything else? Will the Boss ME-50 work splitting the guitar signal AND providing FX to both amps?

or should I just go with a buffer? (which one you suggest for cheap? )
