I think Clubtone has one? I know someone on here uses one...

I've got one, works great for a lot of applications. I've got an older one with two CL80s instead of the CL80/V30 mix. I'm going to look into getting a V30 or something to put in there for the mix to try it out. But, all in all, great cab, GREAT build quality, love the top handle, nice a portable.

I had the Cl80/V30 proprietary speakers in mine. Awesome cab....can't say enough good things about the sound, build quality, etc...I wish I had kept it. Now I live with an "ok" Avatar by comparison.

I have a couple obviously...one with 12-65s, one with Golds and one with the THD speakers.

Actually the Vintage isn't a V30 sounding speaker bu rather a H30 with lss top and more bottom.

Do the 2x12's have the beam blocker things like the 4x12's?

Man, I should get me a 2x12 and a Flexi. Super versatile, and super easy rig to move around. I could even take it to small blues jams without freaking everybody out. :D

Thanks for the clarification, Ed. I always wondered why none of my other V30s sounded even close to the THD speaker. Now I know!

Doh, I think started that misunderstanding in this thread, my bad.

So all in all the stock ones seem to be pretty good. I noticed some references to blues. How well do they fit for Rock/Metal? Also can anybody compare to the Genz Benz 2X12 that is my other option?

Celestion Blues are so not a speaker you'd want for Metal.

I am not sure we are talking about the same THD 2X12 cabinet. This is the one I am speaking of

I thought they were celestions 75W like the Genz Benz. However now I cannot find reference on THD's site or American Musical regarding the type of speakers they put in them?

Seeing that we make only one type of 2x12...yes we are.
It comes loaded with our own speakers. I happen to have loaded 2 of my cabs with Celestions.

They're great sounding cabinets and an easy one-handed carry. Can't do much better than that.

I think the GB. I like the THD better it has much less directional effect , well keeping the punch of a closed cab. They are a lot more easy to move around. The tone is more ballanced, a great cab. As good or better than any other 2-12 I have played.

I had a CL80 loaded one as well. Awesome cab, the handle style/location is great and its light. I miss mine ALOT. I'll get another some day.
