Jacob & his drummer Josh are just plain awesome. I know they are working on original stuff & I hope it's great!

I've always loved Van Halen's Balance tone.....second to his brown sound of course, but still great!

That is fantastic. Just great all around. EVH has always had such a unique feel and awkward sense of timing in his playing, and a lot of guys tend to miss that when paying tribute. Jacob totally gets it.

Pretty dang amazing. He did a vid with a Germino LV55 that sounded really good; came across it a couple years ago when I was researching which Germino I wanted and thought the kid sounded ridiculous.

He does a "my gear" video here... he's got some original "jam" stuff going in the background that sounds pretty good.
Love the Germino and EB together...sounds good.
And I agree, the feel, the timing, phrasing...the stuff that makes Eds music so difficult (imo) to mimic, he's got it down.
