I also want to add... take a look at the bass amp in the right corner. That tiny Mark Bass Cabinet was L-O-U-D!!! That little f*cker was almost TOO loud on stage and we had to turn it down. Great bass amp...

They are Eggie 2x12s. I've got a Tourmaster 2x12, and it kills man. (With G12K100s that is...also kills with 1 CL80 and 1 G12T75).

Eric

Those are indeed leather pants... hahaha.

I'm more of a "dirty old pair of jeans" guy myself... Matt is the more fashionable one.

They're Mod series 2x12s. But I've played thru some of the TM 2x12s at NAMM, and GC, and they thump just as hard.

Heck yes they are leather pants! Didnt you hear that leather pants make you play better? Nicholas has always been strictly against leather pants because he thinks they are for 80s metal rejects. I disagree. I think leather pants are quintessential rock n roll and don't always look 80s depending on what you wear them with.

They are the Eggie 2x12 cabs w/ v30s, but from what Ive heard, the Tourmaster 2x12 is basically the same cab for alot less. In fact, I don't believe Egnater offers a USA 2x12 cab anymore for this reason.

No vids of this show, but we played an Apple store the night before that I should be able to get some footage from. A buddy of mine took video and I know Apple was shooting, but they are not sure they can/will release it to me.

Matt definitely will get the girls with Leather Pants :). Especially with something shoved in the crotch to make his "you know what' look bigger!!

Well, get some video done soon! We all want to hear how these Eggies sound!!! Or get some bootleg audio off the board or something! C'mon ;)

Eric

Heck, with that backing you up who needs to play? Just put the stuff on stage and let people stare at it!

Looks great- Looks like it was a fun night.

Len

;) :D      :m17:

What Mod50 modules you guys using? And is that a Warmoth tele?!

Sorry to answer half the the question while speaking for you Nick... But yeah... Nick's got everybody here drooling over those Warmoth Teles. Makes me think about building one... :D

I was playing BMan / EG5 and Nick was playng T/D / SL2. Now, hes using BMan instead of T/D. Also, I use 5881s and he uses EL34s.

Yeah, Nick builds most of his guitars these days and they play great. I have no skill in doing such a thing so I leave that to John Suhr.

Does Nick do his own fret jobs too? I've built about 20-25 warmoths, and every neck I've gotten from them needed some sort of fret leveling. If not, he must have some insanely high action! Thankfully I have a awesome luthier to do all of my fret leveling work. On a funny side note, a mutual friend of mine and my luthier got his guitar "plekked" down by a luthier in Nashville, and holy shit did it play like crap! Must have had a guy that really didn't know how to run the Plek machine. My luthier did tons better on the fret job! After plek, there were places on the fretboard it would fret out, and it was buzzy as all hell. After my luthier, it didn't fret out at all, and it played like BUTTAH! It will be interesting to see how the Pro Modern M1 from Suhr I have on order plays after being plekked.

Eric

Cool gig shots guys. Those are bad ass Tele's you got Nick and Suhr doesn't make anything bad, so you are rocking it pretty good the guys. AWESOME Egnater attitude there!!! Nice move on the leather pants, you guys look sharp. Mighty low ceiling, I hate those but whataya gonna do?

Yep, that's a Warmoth tele. But I prefer to call it "The Pierro Custom"...

And yes, I do all my own fret work.

Eric - yeah, the Warmoth necks, while being really nice, definitely aren't 100% ready to go, right out of the box.

I have a fret rocker tool to check for high frets, a curved diamond grit fret file crowner thing, an end detail file, guaged nut files, etc.

Am I an expert yet? No. But I'm getting pretty darn good for being self taught... my goldtop and Cherry burst teles play incredibly well, with nice low action.

Those are truly sweet man. Way to go. I've thought about buying a set of tools for that kind of stuff, but my freind is Ross Jennings. He is a Master Lutheir. He ran the Charvel Jackson floor in California back in their heyday. He's so good and gives me buddy pricing. It's kinda pointless. Still that's cool you can do that.
