Yeah thanks for posting. That was fun to read. What history.
 
Great story. Pretty cool the relations with Simmons and Kiss. Both Paul and Gene played custom made LoBue guitars early on. Pauls offset LoBue V was very cool and Simmons main bass basically up until he went with Spector was the LoBue double cutaway.

Both Lobue's, wonder if Larry worked on those...

i knew some of his history but had no idea he was in on the ground floor of the rock movement and knew all the rising stars early on

have 2 super Ds in my 80 The Paul that i put in right after I it bought new. T Tops weren't cool in HS back then so i threw them out.
im not crazy about them. i wont change them because i put them in when i was a bushy tailed 16 yo with big dreams
