The Egnater Mod 50

Hey all,

I am picking up a used Egnater Mod 50. Right now, I have a PWE Event Horizon, 20th Bogner Shiva and one of my all time favorites, a BFG modified Mesa Dual Rectifier. I decidied to add an Egnater Mod 50 back into the stable. Wish me luck, LOL!

I love that amp and miss the fun of owning one. I plan to stick with the original, stock modules as I found they were the best ever made for the Egnater system. I decided on the Mod 50 over a Mesa Boogie Royal Atlantic or Electra Dyne.

I love my MOD50, great little amp. The stock modules on the Egnater are definitely good, but if you've been gone from the scene for a while the modders are doing some pretty special things these days. Either way, welcome back to the MOD50, good choice.

Wish I could afford it now, but I grabbed too much gear at year end, so it will be spring or summer. I hope there is an empty head available when I am ready. I really wish Bruce had continued to produce such a great piece. What a shame. The world of music will never be the same. Oh well.

Maybe I need to try the M4 and Randall Power amp or Mod100 for more power.
