That's pretty sick. Go to their website and check out the Head 3100, it looks pretty similar.

That's because it's the same exact amp.

Look in the link. It says H3100.

I have one and LOVE IT!!!

When I first got mine, I hated it. It was like there was too much of everything. Seamed like it need to be tamed or something. I was ready to give up on it. But then, I turned it to half power and triode. My GOD!! this thing sounds unbelievable!

From past experience, putting an amp in half power and/or triode would soften an amp up and make it squishier. Not the case with this one. It became clearer, tighter and more alive. I just love the damn thing.

It's also a tweakers amp. There's a lot going on and it took me a good week to really learn how things worked. Got it dialed in now!

That amp would pretty much have to come with a blond nympho sweedish model with a Godlike rack who also cleans condos before I would shell out the coin they are asking for that !!!

$3600?!?!?!?!?!?!?

NO way Ivan old buddy of mine, way too rich for my blood.

which wizard is that?

modern classic?

how does the elmwood compare to your cameron marshall?

I will say that it is a one of the better looking amps I've seen. Go for it, Ivan!

I said the features are giving me a woody not that I would actually buy the thing   Don't think I'll EVER spend over say $2,750 on an amp either...

I am broker than broke and have sold $6K so far of my gear over the past 4 weeks. I still have A LOT but, still :aww:

Yeah, it's a modern Classic. The Elmwood, Wizard and Cameron all kick major ass! My friend and I compared them all today (his Camerons) and while they are all a little different, they all equally rip. When comparing amps like this, it's splitting hairs IMO. The Wizard is the most simular to the Camerons, while the Elmwood has something going on that's a little different from most other amps.

JB, what does it do-both a lead and rhythm amp or more of one and not the other? Have any clips that you did?

looks badass jb.
normally these amps new sell for over 5000 so 3600 for one used is a good price.

This is what I love most about the amp, it does everything exceptionally well. The channels acually have a different tone and feel to them, unlike so many channel switchers out there. A lot of amps have channels that are either watered down versions of the lead channel or gained out versions of the rythm channel.

First off, the clean channel is excellent. Lots of headroom. Much better than the Modena 60 I had. Very impressive. The 2nd channel, or rhythm channel, is real tight and clear with a huge range. You can get awsome mid gain rock tones out of it, or turn up the gain a bit and have a great tight metal tone. Then this channel has a Blues/Modern switch too. Again, it's not a watered down, just cut the gain type of tone. It seams to do more than that. What shocked me most about it, was that it is acually USABLE! :D And I like it!!

The 3rd channel is a thick......just awsome tone that does leads probably as good or better than any amp I've had. Also, the controls on this thing are just insane. They have the biggest sweeps of any amp I've tryed. Just moving the mids from noon to 1:00 dramatically change the tone and feel of the amp. It IS the most versitile amp I've ever played because every feature is usable and sounds great. Parellel and series loops (havn't tryed them yet), patch bays for all 3 channels, pentode/triode switch, 50/100 power switch, global edge and deep controls, separate eq's for all channels. Just an awsome amp.

I did this clip as a test and wasn't meant ot be heard because of some sour notes. But, here ya go.

I think that's the best lead tone I have heard in a long time. Thick, juicy, nice cutting tone. Awesome! The more I hear these Elmwoods, the more I love 'em.
