which modules?????

I know this amp is probably still being tweaked, but I'm curious. The NAMM vids on YouTube don't really give me which flavour.

I played it with the gain maxed, and I would say it sounds like the SL.

+1 but damn it has some gain!

These things are going to be the ultimate bedroom or practice amp. :D I bet they'd do great on gigs as well when mic'ed.

I might be right wrong(really?) but I thought Jeff said that The
Rebel was made overseas like the Tourmasters....Again,don't hold
me to that.....The one thing I do know is that it RIPS! When I had
the chance to check it out awhile back I was amazed at all the
differant tones you could get going between the EL84's and 6V6's-
And the cranked volume of this thing is unreal- I don't know why
you could'nt play a smaller gig with the Rebel and the 112 cab....I
could see where it could sound like the SL-2 but maybe a little of
the EG5 as well................

Yes, this amp is made overseas like the Tourmaster as it's in the GC line. I'd say it's way more than just a bedroom practice amp. I heard it through an Egnater 4x12 and it was loud and gloriously ripping... and it was only at about 10W. If this thing takes pedals well, which I'm gonna go ahead and assume it does, it can easily be someone's main gigging amp. Like Jeff always says about the Rebel, it's not some toy or a novelty amp. It fuckin' rips.

I had the chance to play it while I was there, and yes,it "fuckin rips"

originally I thought this one was going to be about as gained out as a Jcm800 .

After hearing the Video from NY amp show ..it seems to have a LOT more gain that that .

was the voicing changed since the original idea ,after seeing the success of the EG5 and that a majority or Egnater customer .seem to want yet more gain?

It has a ton of gain! Voicing has not changed we did move the low end a bit toward the tighter side of things...We just finished giving the stamp of approval to the first 2 samples and look for them to hit stores late July to early Aug!
