I've always liked the band Korn but was never a diehard fan or anything. I liked their "mid-career" stuff but then they just seemed to lose direction in my opinion. A friend of mine got the newest album and it blew us away. The songs are faster than anything they have other done and it is heavy, but not muddy-sounding, etc. The riffs and style of music sounds a lot like something Sevendust would do. Anyway, if you even remotely like Korn, you should give it a listen.

I thought it was ok, nothing good really..and im a huge korn fan.

Huge Korn fan... the album sucks... theres 2-3 decent songs and the rest is filler, some of the most cookie cutter lyrics I've ever heard from Jonathan...

Cool you dig it though, that's what music is all about

Did they dump the Dubstep crap on the new one?

Found a few songs on youtube

This one sounds decent

The few songs I have heard sound OK, but doesn't love up to the expectation that everyone had about Head re-joining the band.

Wow, I'm surprised more people don't dig this. I think I like the faster Korn songs though and this is filled with that type of stuff. It doesn't sound like typical Korn but I think there are a lot of cool tones on it.

They have done nothing I wanted to listen to after Follow The Leader.

You should give this latest one a listen. I'm just curious what others think about it. To me it is different than anything they have done but maybe I'm sniffing glue....:)

I like what I've heard so far a LOT better than anything they've done recently. They need Brian in that band, period. First two albums were amazing and unique.

"Untouchables" is one of my faves - maybe that's why I'm pretty happy with this one. It is Korn all the way - but it's new too. Some electronic stuff, yeah, but it is driven by a rhythmic riff the way they ought to be.

I checked it out. I found it fairly generic sounding rock. Most of the groves were straight up rock beats with the bass mixed way low for a Korn album (ie, mixed like a standard rock bass). For the most part it had the standard Korn sound, albeit weak and thinned out. I felt the album lacked the feel that Korn typically generates. There was no strong driving grooves. I feel you could've had any band play those songs and they'd still sound correct.

I wouldn't say this album was faster... It's the same mid tempo they normally play at.

I don't fault bands for wanting to change over time but I don't find this album particularly exciting. That said, aside from the odd song here and there I haven't really liked anything after Life is Peachy.

I am probably the oddball, but I LOVE the Dubstep album before this one. They definitely did something different and new on that one...

Check out Brian's first solo album "Save me from Myself". I actually found that to be one of the best Korn related albums all the way through.

They were my favorite band from 11-16. I was excited to see hear what they had come up with after head rejoined. I assumed that it would be closer to their old stuff but was disappointed when I heard the album. I went to see them live though, they played mostly old songs, it was awesome

Cant say I was a fan. Take A Look In The Mirror was great, but lost all interest after that.
