My wife and I moved into a new house in July and it had an unfinished basement. The past several months have been spent constructing, wiring, painting and making many trips to the hardware store. The actual construction was handled by somebody else but the rest was mostly me along with my wife.

I was trying to create a space where I could be just as happy having people over as well as rehearsing and recording. I think I have succeeded. I'm probably going to have an AMPFEST sometime after the holidays in case anybody feels like coming to the Pittsburgh area.

that's awesome!! I can't believe your wife gave you the entire basement

i'd be up for an ampfest in pittsburgh.

Thanks guys. That's actually not the whole basement. That's about 2/3 of it. The other part is still unfinished and we use it for storage.

fantastic! I miss having a basement. No basements here in florida. you get so much more space out of your home

Now I am pissed. His man cave is bigger than mine. That room is going to be righteous!

Mine, too. I'd kill for a basement...oh well, I'll keep pouring money into my demo room money pit, I guess.

Congrats on finalizing the basement Looks great!

Holy shit....I am gonna show my wife right fucking now!!!! Oh wifey.....

Great job Bill. That turned out really nice!
It's amazing what some wood, drywall and paint can do for a basement.
I'm hoping to start mine after the holidays.
