I've been watching a couple of cake making shows (don't ask) and it surprises me how they just man handle the "icing" on these type of cakes... they treat it like clay... and some folks don't even use gloves... crazy.

I tasted a Hello Kitty cake that one of my wife's friends made using similar icing... and it was horrible... kind of tough and plastic feeling.

That being said... you're mom rocks!!! Awesome... just awesome...
