Thinking about another cab?

I have a marshall 4x12 1960 vintage with V30's in it that really sounds great with my M4 and rt2/50. Im running it in stereo with 6l6's hitting 2x12's and el34s hitting 2x12's. After listening to the clips Jeff posted with one cab with v30's and the other with g12h's im thinking of getting another 4x12 with some different speakers to add some depth to the sound. I could either have channel 1 going to a cab and channel 2 going to another or run both cabs in stereo with each cab getting the 6l6 channel and el34 channel. Ideas? how are the egnater 4x12 cabs i've never had one and i was looking and couldnt tell if they only have the TM cabs? or speakers offered? Thanks for any ideas, the modules i will have will be T/T, SL, VX, SL2x.

Don't quote me on this, but basically, Jeff and Bruce are so pleased with the results of the TM 412 cabs, that the US 412 is basically a "custom order only" option now.

The TM412 only comes with V30s.

From what I've heard, it's an incredible cab, at any price.

if you have speakers lying around, go unloaded with something custom.

I own a USA 4x12 and had the TM4x12--both straights, both had V30's. The difference is minimal at best. If anything, the USA cab sounded a little warmer because the speakers are well broken in. Other than that, very similar. I would still have the TM4x12 but opted for 2x12s instead for the flexibility.

Ty Tabor from King's X doesn't seem to have any problems with the TM412s... he's got like, what, 8 of them????? haha.

Dumb question but how good do these cabs sound?I have several 2 and 4x12's but I want a v-30 4x12 cab and rarely buy new.I just want a relatively standard production one that sounds decent.I wasn't too impressed with my last Marshall 1960av .Also build snobbery doesn't matter if it sounds good.I.E. MDF ,particle board voidless Baltic birch plywood.I'm about ready to bite on one at GC if they have one locally.

Thoughts ??

Again... good enough for Jeff and Bruce to quasi-discontinue the US made cabs. They must sound good!!!!!

No experience with the 412, but that damn TM 212 is an awesome cab!! I can't imagine the 412 sounding bad.

Sounds about the same deal I got on mine from Musiciains Friend when they had their 20% ....got the same 20% deal w/ the 410. I love the 410 stock..and that TM412 w/ M75s.. Sounded great w/ V30s too...if V30s are you thing. Just a great 4x12 and 4x10. Only cab I haven't messed w/ yet is the Rebel 1x12 extension cab. But...I've got a killer Mojo 1x12...and Gonna try the port city when I get the M75.

Thanks for the replies so far! what about some speaker suggestions, I know i will stick with my V30 marshall cab, what speakers compliment v30's? Or i could use the RT2/50 channel switching feature and have a cab with blues and golds or something for my t/t and vx modules or something hmmmmmm..... all this flexibility i dont know what to do

I think I got one of the last USA 4x12's, got it empty from Jeff early last year I think. If they felt the need to not offer these anymore due to the TM412's being as good, then they are DAMN good.
