Remember that anything Zorran records sounds really good. I for one prefer the sound he did on the tune Surrounded with a Boogie Mark IV. Sounds more metal to me.

I wonder what kind of cab/speakers he was using. The 101b I had sounded way too dark and compressed for my liking. I played it through a 4x12 with a quad of Scumback M75's (25 watters).

I can't say that it's the best tone I've ever heard, but it sounds good. Sounds like they had the bass a bit too high, it's a bit boomy. The guitar gets lost against the drums at certain parts as well. One section in there sounded like they ripped off Meshuggah big time The amp sure has kicking bass power though. Or is that the bass
