I thought they were good, but not amazing top tier amps. Like some say a bit smooth for my taste, which is partly why they also work well for leads

What would you think would be a good deal on Cornford MK50 II with matching 4x12 cabinet?

I'd give my left nut for one. The amp is probably a $2500-2800 amp if I was guessing. The cab, probably another $800-1000 just cuz you never see them.

Dang, not much action on this thread. I figured there would be more.

Great amp. Look in England; they come up more often and cheaper there.

I owned a HellCat didnt like it tried the MK 50 didnt like it but then I gotta RK 100 ran it thru an old orange 6*12 cab it was the Shizzle plenty of gain gotta crank it tho

Never been able to try one. I own a Hellcat. It’s never been my go to amp, yet I’ve spent a lot of hours on it and can’t sell it. Unique. Bit dark. Not quite enough gain on channel one, too much on channel two. But as a sometimes amp, it’s beautiful. Could be your only amp if you made a style around it. Would love to try an MK50 and an RK100. Put clips up if you get one.

Nobody knows them that well . I had both of them and liked the MK50H the best . That amp was just nasty and had duel masters . I played it through an old Marshall 4x12 with G12-65's in it They were so cool I had to sell them LOL .
