TJ preamp tubes

Seen some post in the past but wanted
to see what everyone one else likes.
Chinese ones thst came it in are overly bright.
...to my ears anyway.
 
Or mix and match...

I believe my TJ has a GL-ECC83 in V1, HG Chinese in V2 (12AX7), A Jan Philips 5751 in the high-gain socket (V3), and Chine throughout expect for the PI which has a EiYugo.

Can`t remember, it's 4000miles away, but MAN did it sound nice.

Either I have to get back to my waregouse of gear, or it's a matter of buying a container and shipping it all down here, as it would seem my wife and I aren't planning on "coming back".

PS: DeathByUberschall was a fantastic resource in assisting in my quest for perfect Uber tone, just FYI - as was Leib... GREAT cats with gobs of knowledge.
